To the Residents of Falls Church,

I am proud to be a citizen of Falls Church.  I am fortunate enough to raise my family here in the City.  And I am humbled to stand as a candidate for the Falls Church City School Board.

I am seeking your vote because I believe the School Board can have a positive impact on the challenges Falls Church faces today.  I want to represent all of the citizens of our great City, listening to their concerns and serving as their voice on the most important contributor to our collective future -- our schools.  And I want Falls Church to remain one of the best cities in the country, an ideal place to live, work, worship, grow a business, and raise a family.  And that begins with our public schools.

As your voice on the Falls Church City School Board, I pledge to:

• Guarantee that all Falls Church City families have access to a high-quality, globally competitive public K-12 education
• Equip all Falls Church City students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in both postsecondary education and careers
• Provide all Falls Church City children with high-quality teachers equipped with the education, knowledge, and support necessary to ensure the highest levels of student performance
• Ensure that, in these difficult budget times, our education dollars are being spent on those priorities that are proven effective in boosting student learning and achievement

I ask for your support.  I ask for your ideas.  I ask for your questions.  And, most importantly, I ask for your vote.  I want the chance to represent you on the School Board, and I pledge to do everything possible to ensure your voice is heard in all corners of our public schools.
