In 2007, Patrick R. Riccards launched Eduflack, a national blog focused on improving public education through improved communication.  Built on Riccards' career in social marketing, public engagement, media relations, crisis communications, and related issues in the education sector, Eduflack highlights the role of communications in meaningful education reform.

Eduflack is now recognized as one of the top education blogs in the United States, regularly cited by policymakers, educators, and advocates for its insights and analysis.  As a result, Riccards has also been asked to regularly blog and opine on a range of education platforms, including Education News and EdReformer.  

In 2009, Riccards launched an @Eduflack Twitter feed, providing the latest education news, analysis, and research to followers.  With more than 5,000 followers, the @Eduflack Twitter feed is one of the leading education-focused Twitter feeds on the platform.
